Latest additions, banners and modules for the silicon bespoke flash drives and the custom molds that seem to be ever so popular in the last few months.  If you have a bit more time on a job then I can well recommend going for the custom shapes and designs of memory sticks.  

 You would be surprised by the pricing,  I would say 1/3 ontop of the standard price for the custom usb mold.  This covers the setup on the custom shape as there is certain tooling costs that need to be applied.  So the more memory sticks you are planning on buying the cheaper they will become.  And remember once you have paid for the tooling you won't need to pay for it again as we will already have it in stock.  So your repeat orders will be even cheaper.

Obviously costs are allways a concern when buying flash memory sticks but another thing to remember is that quality is paramount.  We use only grade A samsung and Hynix chips.  If you get a to good to be true price then you can rest assured the supplier is probably using Grade B or even god forbid Grade C chips. 

From what we have seen of the last months promotional purchasing trends there seems to be more inclination towards the higher memory size memory sticks and flash drives.  This shows a big trend change from last month that saw a higher volume of memory sticks sold but at lower memory sizes.

We can only assume that customers are buying flash drives for their own customers as christmas gifts as opposed to the usual bottle of peach schnapz or brandy!  It allways helps to buy people a gift they can use rather than one they will have forgotten about but the time new year comes around.

Well today I have been working a lot on the sites optimisation for various terms including: "branded flash drives" "printed flash drives" "branded usb drives" and anything with variations there of.

From what I understand there are a lot of different ways to work on the SEO of your site.  I've been using this 101 Link Building and SEO tips website for a bit of a guide.  I have worked on several other flash drive sites to try to achieve good ranking in the search engines.

I have received some good results for specific neiche terms in the search engines.  But generally the terms "flash drives"  and " branded memory sticks" and anything that is generally less specific are much harder to rank with.

Having said that the site has been up only a week or so and we have already have contact from a couple of new suppliers in the far east already!  So they are definatly finding the site some how.

One of the search terms we rank well with on yahoo but not so much google is "cheap memory sticks"  I'm thinking that google has probably banned the site due to what I think they would class as keyword spamming.   Well you live and learn by your mistakes and this site is going to be a massive information base for flash drives and memory sticks.

Tomorrow I'm going to look at putting a few tables and charts in HTML for the past rise and fall of flash drive prices accross the UK and mainland ASIA, apart from the huge purchase by Apple back in March last year that drove the prices through the roof, the prices for flash drives and memory sticks have been steadily on the delcline due to the drop in the NAND chips.

This section has been setup to give day to day reports into the purchasing of flash drives and  memory sticks.

 All of our flash drive products are sourced in China where labour is generally cheaper.  We have used several factories in the past in the UK for the actual printing of the flash drive . We have not however ever found a printed in the Uk that produces work of the quality that we source from china!

 Flash drive prices this week have dropped below what they were at this time last month.  As it winds down towards christmas not so many people are buying flash drives or branded memory sticks. Apart from the odd event in December there are not so many exhibitions on the lead up to Christmas.  Our really busy time will come towards the middle of january.

 Lets hope our customers remember about Chinese New year next year.  When all the factories close down and getting memory sticks delivered for your everts in feburary can be really difficult unless you plan forwards and order early.  We will this year be pushing for customers to get all their flash drive orders placed early January to beat any rush that we might have.
